Under 12's Team
About the team (Sponsored by Dare Accountancy)
We are now entering our second season of 11-a-side football and have a squad in excess of 20 players some of who have been with the club since we first started as under 6's!!
We train on Saturday mornings from 9.00 until 10.30 and have two coaches that run the team, Richard Dare & Dave Bartlett; Dave is an FA level 2 qualified coach, and leads the training sessions that the lads have. Richard and Dave then take the team for our league games on a Sunday.
Our training is based around drills for the players to develop their skills that they can put into practice in training games and competitive matches too.
Our ethos is to get the players to enjoy their football and we actively encourage the lads to work together as part of a team and have fun through playing for each other and showing their skills. League football is a challenge and we don't win all our games, but that is not important, the main thing is that football is fun for the players, coaches and parents alike.
